I like to eat seed butters instead of nut butters. They digest easier in my system and leave me with more energy!

Soak for 6-8 hours in filtered water and rinse

1 cup of raw soaked pumpkin seeds
1 or 2 tablespoons virgin cold pressed coconut oil
1 tablespoon raw honey
blend in vitamix or food processor

Turmeric Coconut Cream Pie is a unique pie due to the process of making turmeric coconut cream. The health benefits of turmeric coconut cream are outstanding. I'm making a dvd this month on exactly how to make the special cream. Please sign up for my newsletter and I'll let you know when the dvd is ready :) I will have many uses of turmeric coconut cream on it...
The FILLING is-
2 cups turmeric coconut cream
2 ripe bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla bean powder
juice of one lemon
1 Tablespoon raw honey
pinch of salt
the CRUST-
2 cups raw walnuts
1 cup coconut flakes
2 Tablespoon virgin coconut oil
2 Tablespoon raw honey
pinch of salt
Blend the crust ingredients in a vita mix or high speed blender. Then push mixture into a spring form pan and make even. Next blend filling ingredients and pour into the pan over the crust. Freeze for 2-3 hours and sprinkle with coconut shreds. Eat ;)
This is truly the best option to treat your sweet tooth! think raw and remember we are not here to live up to anyone's expectations and they are not here to live up to ours..
Here's how I applied this mantra last night...
Last night I got caught up in some meditation in venice! First time going, it was different, it made me uncomfortable, a lot of dancing and looking into eachothers eyes... It got really late and I had to be up at 5am to get food out for a delivery and it didn't look like anyone was leaving anytime soon. A lot of circle story sharing so I thought I don't live up to anyones expectations and I wanted to go home and go to bed.. So I did :) I would go again..Getting uncomfortable is a chance to grow and it kinda felt good to shake my body that hard ha

God wants me on this planet a little longer....
Last night I got into a car accident and it shook me up but it was a warning to me and hopefully it creates an awareness among you, my friends, and loved ones. This raw truth comes to you straight from my heart. You will only get the truth from me.
It was dark out, speeding cars, fast traffic on the 405 and I foolishly thought I could text.. Yes, this accident happened due to me texting and driving. I think I'm an above average driver and thought I could do it. No one can.
I was going about 70 and lost complete control of the car. I swerved from left to right then back left, I couldn't get control back, it was happening so fast and next thing I know I'm spinning across a 5 lane highway from 70 miles per hour and ended up hitting a side clay hill off highway. During the spinning in slow motion, I thought I'm going to die, something really bad is happening that will change everything. I was so scared!
I feel it's a miracle that I spun in 3 circles across a 5 lane highway in heavy traffic and no one hit me. I opened the door, half way and squeezed out(I was jammed in the mud hill), and walked away with no injuries. My job is not done here on earth.
I'm sharing this to help make you aware to not text and drive. I have heard it a million times, I know it's wrong and I still did it. It's so dangerous and I will do whatever it takes not to text and drive. Life is way to valuable.
I will leave my purse in the trunk and please do the same! This is very serious and please don't let it take an almost tragedy to stop texting and driving. It's not worth it!!
When I was standing on the side of the road while the tow truck got my car out, I was so thankful for my legs and to be standing there. I was thankful for each breath I was taking. I never want to take my health and life for granite. It's a gift to have legs to ride my bike into the sunset. A gift I should cherish and not do foolish things that can take that away.
Please PLEASE please don't text and drive. I won't!
I was driving in the car today and looked up into the mirror and whoa I have dark circles…
Now I’ve been getting enough sleep, juicing, smoothies, and eating really really healthy. So what could I be deficient in? Of course I had to do some research and found maybe I’m low in Iron, according to Chinese medicine my Kidney’s may be unbalanced, maybe too much sodium in diet, and possibly lacking vitamin c, possible dehydration, or lack of sleep.
I found the highest amounts of iron are in watercress and parsley. Spinach does have iron too, but also contains oxalic acid, which can prevent some minerals from being utilized by the body. Remember mix up the kinds of greens you consume!
High Iron Kidney Balancing Salad!
1 bunch Watercress-known to help treat anemia
1 bunch Parsley- very high in iron
1/4 cup raisins-iron
1 fennel bulb-keeps kidneys healthy
1 teaspoon clove- Kidney balancing

What the heck are enzymes anyway?
Enzymes- Are complex proteins that catalyze(or speed up) chemical reactions(human function) in the cells of EVERY thing living! Whether plant or animal, enzymes exist in ALL living things and take part in all actions to maintain life. We need enzymes to exist!
What is the job of enzymes?
Digesting food
Supply of energy
Detoxification
Excretion
Transportation
Decomposition
Synthesis
With today’s stressful lifestyles and environment; alcohol, food additives, overeating, stress, pollution, tobacco, and toxic colons we need to eat food that is alive with enzymes.
What would we do without enzymes?
Basically we have thousands of different types of enzymes in our body. Some are digestive enzymes found in the food we eat that help break food down into tiny pieces so we can digest it. Metabolic enzymes help brain function, build blood, repair tissues, supply energy, and purge the waste. Enzymes are our friend.
Now we know that wherever there is life present you will find enzymes. I like think of enzymes as little workers in our bodies getting stuff done to keep us beautiful and thriving. We can’t build or repair the house with just supplies we NEED the workers! Do you have enough workers?
Is your body bank account full or depleted?
We are born with the gift of producing a great amount of enzymes and started on this planet with a large amount. Our bank account was full but as time goes on our bodies slow down enzyme production. Just a fact of life. When we eat cooked food on the Standard American Diet we use up enzymes in digesting and we don’t replace them. Over time we keep making withdrawals to digest and we become broke and tired. Now what? We think this is a slowing a metabolism, but what do you expect when you are running low on workers? Your body slows down… Try feeding your body live foods and watch your metabolism increase and your body start feeling and looking younger.

Luckily we can replenish our account and hold our house up with a supply of enzymes in raw plant food. Let’s make deposits instead of withdrawals. Now, how do we do that? By eating more raw foods! Enzymes in food are heat sensitive and get destroyed completely when heated at temperatures above 105 degrees. When you eat uncooked plant food you are taking in large amounts of enzymes. Fill your account at every meal and make sure to at least keep your meals 50% raw. We are alive and so is raw plant food. Cooked food is dead and void of all life. How can dead food sustain us with a vibrant life? Remember enzymes are really important and found in all living things. Eat them tonight!
So moral of the story is that I want to thrive not just survive. Sure we can all survive on cooked food for awhile… But during that survival why not thrive and keep it going until our sunset years. Invest now in your future. It’s never to late to start anything. It just feels good to feel good. By eating more raw plant foods you will have more energy, glowing skin, an abundance of enzymes, clear thinking, and a sunny outlook on life. Think raw. Think green.

As much as I believe in cleansing and healing through fresh raw juices, green smoothies provide tons of fiber and your most valuable greens!

It really is worth it to have a quart of green smoothie a day! My personal testimony is tons of energy, no constipation(which I suffered from before my raw diet), the veins in my legs have diminished greatly, I never get sick, I have a creative clear mind, an alkaline body, bright eyes, maintain weight naturally, and just feel great!
I made this green smoothie with no fruit but when I started on them I definitely put frozen and fresh fruit in them, and a sweetener usually stevia or raw honey. Sometimes I still do and I add superfoods such as maca, chia seeds, lucuma, bee pollen and much more.
BEWARE… Make sure you change your greens around in your green smoothies! VARIETY IS KEY!!

Are you an animal? What do you break your fast with?
Animals don’t jump out bed and start eating. They have to work for their food. Remember the old saying, work up an appetite? It’s best to let your body fully wake up before bombarding it with food. Start your morning with deep breathing, exercise, and warm lemon water.
Break the fast with ease.
Break-fast literally means “breaking the fast”. Each of us fast every night during sleeping. We are giving our bodies a break to cleanse, heal, and rebuild during the night. People think they can’t go a couple hours without food, but we go 8 or 9 hours without food every night. Think about coming off of a cleanse or a fast, you would ease off and not shock your system with an overload of food. What will you break your fast with today?
Stress free lemon water..
Start your morning with some warm comforting lemon water. Warm up the water on a stove top and squeeze fresh lemon in. The water should be luke warm so that the body doesn’t have to use any energy in processing it. It’s a good thing to consume all food and drinks at room temperature. A lemon water morning helps kick start metabolism and flush some of the dead food you ate from last night. Promoting weight loss. Lemons are very alkalizing and cleansing to your system. Beyond being fresh, clean, and alkalizing(helping to maintain a balanced body ph), it’s an inexpensive way to cleanse.
Why Lemon water?
Lemon water is anti aging due to its high level of vitamin c. It rejuvenates and brings a healthy glow to your skin.

Eat for Nutrition!! What do I eat for breakfast?
I can assure you drinking water is always a good start to flush toxins, then upon your needs eat accordingly. I start my day with a green smoothie. The spinach is 35% protein, the ginger helps with circulation and anti inflammatory. The kale is alkalizing and give me chlorophyll by giving me the sunshine it’s soaked up. The apple gives me fiber and pectin which helps cleanse liver and gallbladder. The banana gives me natural carbs and potassium. The cucumber is great source of silica (a trace mineral) which is excellent for my skin and strengthening connective tissues. I put lemon, bee pollen, and maca for energy and maintaining balanced hormones! I switch up different superfoods I put in such as goji berries, spirulina, chlorella, and cacao!! I change the variety of greens and fruits, kale, chard, romaine, berries, mango, grapes, and kiwi. The smoothies are 50%pre digested leaving me with more energy! This is what works for me. Grocery store milk is dead! Raw milk is actually very good for you. I have read that milk is so bad for you and mucus forming and so on so I drink almond, hemp, milk etc. I’ve recently started researching and experimenting with RAW milk, raw cheese, raw cultured butters and I love them all! This is nothing new, hundreds of years ago people drank it. NO MORE SYNTHETIC CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTS FOR ME! I feel so good, I’m getting all the calcium, vitamin d, vitamin a, protein, enzymes, beneficial bacteria, in my unpasteurized fresh creamy raw milk that taste delicious. I’m loving it and it doesn’t make you fat! In fact it keeps me full for hours when I make raw milkshakes and add a few raw pasture fed eggs. We need the good saturated fats to function, for our brain, immune system, skin, bones, and more.
Historians link humans drinking raw milk in the beginning of civilization, dating back almost 30,000 years ago. Our amazing ancient historians Hippocrates and Galen used raw milk in the treatment to heal disease. During the 1920′s, Dr. J. E. Crewe of the Mayo foundation used an exclusive diet of raw milk to cure tuberculosis, high blood pressure, prostate disease, diabetes, chronic fatigue, and obesity.
Pasteurization didn’t come around until the 1800′s and before that there were no milk allergy issues and hardly any of the degenerative diseases we have today. They ruined the milk in the stores(even organic) when they started pasteurizing it and killing any nutrients in it. Dr. Weston Price noticed a huge increase in tooth decay and crooked teeth in children drinking pasteurized milk.
Raw Milk?
What is the cow fed? How and where is it raised? How is the milk collected? Know this information for the safety and quality of the milk. Cows that graze on organic green grass pastures produce milk with incredible health benefits. You could probably live on this complete and balanced food(raw milk) alone… You want to drink clean, raw, milk.
What can raw milk do for me?
Raw cow’s milk contains all 8 essential amino acids.
Calcium-possible reduction in cancer, lower risk of osteoporosis, higher bone mineral density, strong teeth, and lowered risk of kidney stones.
Cholesterol is a protective/repair substance. It’s natural, normal and essential to find it in our brain, liver, nerves, blood, bile, indeed, every cell membrane.
Contains beneficial bacteria.
Live functional enzymes.
Omega 6 fatty acid which raise the metabolic rate, strengthening the immune system, lowering food allergy reactions, and is also a cancer-fighting agent.
Will raw milk make me sick?
NO! Raw milk contains lactic acid producing bacteria that protects against bacteria. Research shows that unsafe levels of disease causing microbes are rarely found in milk that the cows were organically raised and pasture fed.
Grass fed…
Grass fed milk has natural antibiotic properties that protect it from pathogenic bacteria and it protects the humans that drink it. Organic doesn’t always mean grass fed. Ask questions and read labels. 100% grass fed or grass finished is what you’re looking for. Make sure the cow’s are not over fed on grain!
Pasteurization?
Anything pasteurized is basically dead and void of nutrition. When milk is pasteurized they heat it at high levels to destroy bacteria along with destroying most enzyme activity and nutrients. Pasteurization started when they took the cows off the grass and started feeding them grain. It was much cheaper to feed them grain but so unnatural. Now the cows are fed grain, standing in their own poop, in filthy crowded conditions, given antibiotics cause they are so sick, and hormones for them to mass produce, DUH would you drink that milk if it wasn’t pasteurized? It has a much longer shelf life and is no longer considered raw. It can actually be potentially dangerous to your body and is no good for you.
What else does pasteurization kill in milk? …..enzymes, beneficial microflora such as lactobacillus acidophilus which supports are immune system. Essential fatty acids, CLA which is an essential fatty acid that has strong anti cancer properties and helps maintain weight. What is the purpose of drinking the milk in stores?? None of this is in it.
Is saturated fat bad for you?
NO, we need saturated fats to live. It makes up more than half of our cell walls, boost our immune system, nourishes our hearts, muscles, and raw butters contain anti-fungal anti-microbial properties and anti cancer agents. I love my raw cultured butter! Healthy fats help you lose body fat and become lean, healthy, and disease free. Remember I’m not talking regular milk you buy at the store. That stuff is garbage.. Saturated fats in clean raw milk are good for you.
Who ate saturated fat and thrived?
-Pacific Islander had a diet of mostly coconuts. Coconuts are a saturated fat. The Pacific Islanders were strong and healthy, free of disease and NOT fat.
-Eskimos mainly ate fats in their diets. They ate whale blubber, seal fat, and cold water fish. Eskimos are known for their great health and long lives!
-Mediterranean diets are very high in olive oil. They are all fit and healthy.

2 things you know about me… I love to eat seasonally and I love to know the health benefits of what I’m eating. Why? Because I eat for life!
Live living foods that KEEP ME STRONG AND DISEASE FREE.. Plus not to mention the raw food high..no crash on processed foods or refined sugar diet. How would you like to feel good all day long? It’s nice
So pumpkins are in season..YAY! Health benefits of pumpkin are…
-Beta Carotene Rich, of course anything orange is good for your skin. The anti oxidants vitamin A and C help reduce the signs of aging!
AND, I don’t know about you but I get a nice natural tan(orange hue ha) to my skin when I drink carrot juice or eat a lot of beta carotene rich foods!
-Loaded with Potassium, a mineral that supports blood pressure, muscles, metabolism, stress, anxiety, nervous system… Good for fatigue and muscle weakness.
-Zinc, which I never know if I get enough of. Zinc is a major boost for your immune system. Hence mother nature at it’s best again, pumpkin and flu season together.
-High in Fiber, we can never get enough fiber…
I made raw pumpkin soup. Not the easiest thing in the world to cut and peel a raw pumpkin but it’s a great workout! I was out of breath doing it and loving each breath!
EAT things raw to make sure you are getting the most nutrients out of it and the flavor is excellent. No need to cook things…
2 cups diced fresh pumpkin
2 cups fresh homemade almond milk
1/2 organic reed avocado( or a whole one if it’s a hass)
1 teaspoon fresh thyme
1 teaspoon fresh oregano
2 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon cumin
1 inch fresh ginger root
top with more fresh thyme, oregano, and ground red pepper. Put in a glass mason jar in fridge or eat it warm straight from blender!
